POSITION TITLE
Community Arts Coordinator
WORK SCHEDULE
Half-Time exempt position 20 hours/week (overtime not applicable): flex time as approved by Supervisor
SALARY
$140,000 per year FTE (FY 2024-2025) [$70,000 net]
BENEFITS

Reports to President/Captain of Community Building
RESPONSIBILITIES
The TODCO Group is the nonprofit community development corporation for San Franicsco’s dynamic South of Market Neighborhood. For 40+ years it has been fully engaged in SOMA’s many civic/urban/social/economic planning issues and initiatives. It’s summary Mission Statement is: South of Market Neighborhood Builders.
The Director will join the TODCO Community Arts Team to lead its engagement with SOMA community arts and cultural constituencies and supervise its 6 On 7 Photography Workshop/Gallery and the 6M Community Arts Gallery.
Specifically, the Coordinator will:
• Coordinate TODCO Community Arts program/projects, including the TODCO Community Arts Vision/Plan
• Supervise TODCO Community Arts programs’ staff and direct operations of the Sixth Street Photography Workshop, the 6 On 7 Gallery, and the 6M Gallery
• Undertake other Community Arts Team tasks as assigned
Requirements: Professional-level writing competence. Computer literacy with MS Office, etc.
Minimum three years management-level experience San Francisco community arts programs administration and personnel supervision
Experience with management of arts galleries and exhibitions
Familiarity and engagement with San Francisco Central City communities and constituencies
